Welcome to Chicago Asthma Research

According to the American Association of Allergy, Allergy & Immunology (AAAAI), 34.1 million Americans have been diagnosed with asthma during their lifetime. Everyday in America, 40,000 people miss school or work due to asthma (Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, (www.aafa.org). It is estimated that the number of people diagnosed with asthma will grow by more than 100 million by the year 2025 (www.aaaai.org).

Chicago Asthma Research includes researchers at Northwestern University, Children’s Memorial Hospital, The University of Chicago and Rush University Medical Center who are dedicated to developing new treatment approaches in children and adults with asthma.

We are currently recruiting participants for two new studies and we need your help! If you are interested in learning more about these upcoming studies, or would like to be contacted about future studies, please contact us.

Thank you for your interest in asthma research. Your efforts support our work in developing new and improved treatments for people with asthma!
